The City of Jacksonville with support from the North Carolina Arts Council has been hosting “Movies in the Park” during the last few months.   But as the start of the school year marks the end of the summer fun, it also brings to a close the summer movie night.

If you have yet to join in this summertime tradition in Onslow County, it is a free, family friendly movie, at the Riverwalk Park on Court Street in Downtown Jacksonville.  It is suggested that you bring your own lawn chairs and blankets.   Concessions are available and the movie starts at sunset (7pm).

There are two scheduled showings left, September 14th will be Big Miracle and September 28th will be The Lorax.

If you have any questions regarding the Free Movie Night you can call (910) 938-5312.
